The European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS) in collaboration with its Official Journal Immunology Letters (IL) offers support for the establishment of EFIS-IL Study Groups on specific areas of immunology-related research, to stimulate and facilitate interaction among European researchers.

So before the ILCquest COST Action was created, the Innate Lymphoid Cells Collaborative Network Study Group (ILCollnet) was established, with the primary objective of building a collaborative network across Europe focused on characterizing ILC in both humans and laboratory animals.

The first ILCollnet Study Group meeting was organized on April 25, 2025 in Belgrade, Serbia, while later meetings will be organized as satellite meetings to the ILCquest COST Action events.
