On 17 September 2026, our COST Action held its Management Committee Meeting at the Faculty of Medicine, Universidad Complutense de Madrid. The meeting brought together members of the Action to review progress achieved during the first Grant Period and discuss priorities and activities for the upcoming period.

Key topics included:
• Review of the Action’s activities and current budget plan
• Science Communication activities and the communication agenda
• Preparation of the Work and Budget Plan for Grant Period 2
• Training School and upcoming networking and mobility activities
• Implementation of the COST Excellence and Inclusiveness Policy
• Progress across the five Working Groups, covering ILC phenotypic identification, isolation and propagation protocols, cancer prognosis and therapy, networking and training, and dissemination and communication
• Discussion of upcoming deliverables, goals and activities

The meeting also provided an opportunity to strengthen collaboration among researchers and members from across Europe and to coordinate the next steps of ILCquest in advancing research on innate lymphoid cells and their potential applications in cancer prognosis and immunotherapy.
